The Lane Hotel - Edinburgh

Exceptionally decorated rooms with rich local history integration.

Noisy traffic from Morningside Road made it hard to sleep at times.

The room was spotless and luxury and had a comfortable interior. Its location was peaceful, very close to the caddy mans pub and Morningside and the centre. Local fast food option Hummus was 5 minutes walk away.

The location was magnificent, and we could reach Wild West Cowboy Street by walking.

the location was great and stunning for traveling around edinburgh, close to buses into the city as well and the local pub, the canny mans. i dined not very far from the hotel at maison bleue le bistrot. there were central heating, tv set and an electric kettle in the rooms, which made them modern and compact.

The bathroom had great shower pressure, but the wifi was unreliable .

The room was perfect, spacious, and very quiet. It's only a 10-minute ride to the Old Town or west end of Princes Street, super easy to explore. The shower was powerful, and the Netflix was a nice touch when we wanted to hang out. Can't wait to come back!

The only downside was not having the check-in time mentioned initially, a bit annoying, but we managed. Would have loved a fridge in our room too.

I enjoyed my short stay at The Lane. The staff's friendliness and the comfortable bed. The only downside was the noise from the nearby pub, which sometimes disrupted my peace, but it didn't overshadow the experience.

A chair in the room would have been nice.

The beautiful double room was super clean and had a comfy bed, made sleeping a dream. The staff even provided us with a fan on a warm day, showing great service. Plus, the hotel is close to the city center. We loved exploring the area on foot. The pub downstairs was charming and a highlight of our trip!

We had a fantastic family stay, enjoying a spacious room with style. It was a short bus ride to the vibrant city center, where we strolled along Princes Street, taking in the lively atmosphere. Sharing laughs with my brother made it even better.

My children wished for family-friendly dining options nearby.

Comfortable bed, excellent en-suite, the free wi-fi was reliable for planning our day and the location made it easy to catch the 11 bus for exploring nearby attractions.
